Christmas is less than 2 weeks away, and I have alot of shopping left to do, but I love Christmas shopping, so I am excited! We have been doing the nightly Advent Tradition of the Wreath and prayers, and both kids are loving it! Last week Gianna had a ruptured ear drum, and was teething, but this week is doing alot better. Oh, and we have the appearance of one little point of a tooth coming in on bottom! Yay! She is already almost nine months.....I think it is time:)! She's not crawling yet, which concerns me a liiitttle bit, but the pediatrician says not to worry. We went to Baton Rouge this weekend, visited my brothers, and just had a nice little get away. I ordered Christmas cards today, to have them done for the first time ever! Very excited!
Tonight is John's Christmas Party, mom is keeping the kids, hopefully Gianna will not cry the whole time since Im not around, but it will be a nice get away for the hubby and I, even if for only a couple of hours.

I love lighting the Advent candles at supper every night. It makes the meal seem extra special and it helps us focus on the waiting and preparation for Christ's coming, rather than jumping right into Christmas.
