Blog Neglect....whats been happenin

I apologize in advance for the length of this post, you may choose to read, skim or just skip.....
So I have been greatly neglecting my blog lately, which to me means things have been crazy.
Last post was about the Vit D deficiency, which I have been in and out of doctors office, and actually had a dr look at me and say she had no idea. That just doesnt happen in people my age. It was kinda a weird moment having a doctor tell me they had no idea, and they could just send me to a specialist today, or I can take Vit D everyday for 6 weeks and recheck.  I chose the latter, and will know in about a month what the status is.  I am feeling ALOT better, so I am thinking maybe it is working.
Gianna had her tubes appointment, and thank goodness that he isnt going to put them in yet! He put her on allergy meds everyday to see if it would clear up the runny nose and prevent future ear infections.  Its been 2 weeks, no runny nose, and she started crawling everywhere!! Poor baby just wasnt feeling good, and had fluid clogging her ears constantly.
I am about to begin a major life change, and I am very excited about it.  The reason I have been taking Praxis II and GRE is because I am going to be going to graduate school this summer, and will begin student teaching in the fall at a local high school, actually the one I graduated from!  There is a local program called CART, and basically, Math and Science teachers are in high demand in Cenla.  They are paying for me to go back to school, plus a salary while I am in school and student teaching for 12 months beginning in may. It will be bittersweet leaving my job as a youth minister, and have been praying for an opportunity to go back to school.   It was not possible for us to lose my income, and it nauseated us both to think about piling on more student loans.  This was the perfect opportunity, and I was one of 12 chosen to get the grant.  So Excited! I passed all my tests and now am waiting for my acceptance letter from LSU.  I will be teaching high school Math.  I will do a one year student teaching round, and then in fall 2013 will have my own classroom.  I will have to give 3 years to the school board, and then I can do whatever I want with my degree. Me and the kids will have to move to Baton Rouge this summer for 6 weeks for me to go to an intercession.  My uncle owns a condo there, so we will be living there.  Everything has worked out perfectly, and I know this is God's doing. Its only two hours from where we live so the hubby will visit on weekends, and long weekends. All 3 of my brothers and their significant others live in BR also, so the kids will be well taken care of.
Hubby just got back from a silent retreat, and is refreshed and faith filled, which I love!
Ash Wednesday starts today, as you all know, and this year, like last, I am reading only religious books. Now, I read at night a couple hours after the kids go to bed, and I love love love murder novels.  Well, unless its about a martyr or Jesus, not mysteries for me.  If you have any suggestions of good books for Lent I would Love to hear them.
Whew, my last 2 weeks in a nutshell.
