We are Co-Sleepers at our house, and John Gary slept with us until he was 2 then easily transitioned to his own bed. Well, Gianna now cosleeps with us, and John Gary sometimes in the middle of the night. Only a cosleeping often parents can relate to the below fully (unless you experienced one time and then quit all together) .
A few days after John Gary was born, a friend of a friend had a baby who died of SIDS. After that I was super-over-the-top-completely-nuts paranoid about feeling, hearing and being able to sense my baby breathe. It was over the top, I know, but I still wake up and check if baby is breathing 10 times per night. Good thing she is right next to me, or it would make for a looonnng night.
