Lenten Reading Reflections

Thanks to my friend and former boss Dawn from when we lived in Oklahoma City, I have begun the following title to my evening reading.  I have had a hard time finding Nonfiction Christian writing that is neither watered down same ole stuff, or so theologically packed it makes my head hurt.  This is called historiical fiction, and I really hope it counts.
A Lineage of Grace: Five Stories of Unlikely Women Who Changed Eternity [Book]

I began it last night, and am on the first woman Tamar.  The book goes in to exactly who she is (Joseph's -- the one who his brothers tried to kill and later became king) brother's daughter in law.
Well reading the story of Tamar, I am going to really try to NEVER complain to feel sorry for myself again. So, I will update you on this reading adventure as I delve into the lives of the women of scripture.
Another really good quality Tamar has, is she is prudent in speech, and bites her tounge........learning, learning, learning, need more work!
