Everything Holidays

I have been off work the past week and a half, and have been loving the time home with my kiddos.  We got rid of the Christmas chaos, and have just been being lazy at home, going to the zoo, and pretty much staying in our pjs all day.  Well today is back to the old grind, and I am ready to get back to the routine, as if I would have been spoiled for much longer, the routine might of never made it back into our lives.  We had a great Christmas, and the surprise we had were 2 new puppies! They have been precious, sweet, and overall just great for the kids!  Scruffy, the one with Gianna below, came already named.  But when we asked John Gary what he wanted to name the other puppy.....he said.....uhhhhhhh Bob.  Random mind of a 3 year old!! They live outside in a huge dog pen and shed, so for dogs they have it pretty nice. 

I felt like a Catholic paegan last week, as a swooped down our dead, dead, dead, dead tree that was shedding needles when you walked past it from the breeze.  There was a house fire down the street from us, a beautiful home and the tree caught on fire.  After seeing the umpteen firetrucks, lights, and smoke, I conceded.  We had a sick baby New Years Eve, so we stayed home and John burnt the burn pile with limbs and our tree.  Once a spark hit our lovely tree, it exploded into flames and was gone in like 10 seconds.  Not feeling as bad since then, as I still have a house.
